The project marks her first full-length release since her Grammy-nominated 2020 album, ‘Chilombo’.
Over the last year, the R&B songstress has largely focused on expanding her business ventures. Most recently, she launched her jewelry brand, ALEEL, and partnered with luxury grocery chain Erewhon, where she debuted a signature menu item called ‘Westside Whimsy’. Looking back, the clues to her new era were there all along.
Musically, Jhené most recently teamed up with her rumored love interest, Larry June, on the track ‘California Dream’, featured on his latest album, ‘Who Coppin’, which was released last month.
While she hasn’t unveiled the album’s official tracklist, she shared the project’s artwork with the announcement. With the release date just days away, fans won’t have to wait much longer to experience the beginning of her new era.
