Amy Winehouse‘s timeless music took centre stage in London this week, with FLO, Jorja Smith, Sasha Keable and Yebba among the stars honouring the late singer at a special tribute concert.

Held at the Roundhouse on Wednesday (October 21), the show celebrated Winehouse’s seminal sophomore album, ‘Back to Black,’ with an all-star lineup revisiting the project’s 11 tracks.

Backed by the album’s producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, alongside the Amy Winehouse Band, the evening saw a new generation of vocalists pay homage to the late songstress.

Smith performed ‘Some Unholy War‘ and FLO gave a trio version of ‘He Can Only Hold Her.’ Keable and Yebba were also among the performers taking to the stage; Keable delivered her take on ‘Just Friends,’ while Yebba  brought her vocals to the heartbreak anthem ‘Love Is a Losing Game.’

Other performers on the impressive roster included Corinne Bailey Rae, who opened the evening with the album’s title track, Lianne La Havas, Jessie Reyes, Baby Rose, Terri Walker, Nia Smith and Skye Newman. The night concluded with a collective performance of ‘Valerie,’ the Futons classic that became one of Winehouse’s signature hits.

The concert carries added significance as the Roundhouse was the last venue Winehouse performed at before her death in July 2011.

With a BBC broadcast of the celebration also planned, the tribute serves as a reminder of the lasting legacy of an artist whose music spans across generations.
