I would SORT OF disagree with you..
Gaga did come after Gays had a bit more freedoms than the era of Madonna but Gaga is doing her part for the community that she LOVES.People (including some gays) think Gaga is “using their community for sales”,and they might have their reasons for it,but even if I wasn’t a Gaga follower,I still would respect those opinions,even though they were BS.
Anyway,Gaga’s HELPING in her fight against Bullying in school,and she helped rally for DADT to get repealed,so on and so forth even if she comes off as politically incorrect to some,and even if she loses a few fans.
Madonna may have contributed a big part to it,but you can’t underestimate Gaga’s power.

This being the case, I really hope she does not throw shade at Gaga as it will make her look like she is afraid of her popularity and she really doesn’t need to – Madonna’s legacy is well-established. I bet she is as sick of asking about her as Gaga is probably sick of being asked about Madonna, EVERYONE references or has inspirations from their youth that is reflected in their music and this includes Madonna (I won’t go into specifics as I’m not going to contribute to the ongoing stan wars that make all fans of solo females look like a bunch of jealous idiots).
