Breakout star Leona Lewis performed her new single ‘Bleeding Love’ as part of her homecoming appearance on UK talent show the X Factor. Lewis, who won the show last year, gave a rousing performance of the song (which hits stores here in the UK next week). Though I’m not totally sold on the song, I definitely see her career soaring; the (early) Mariah comparisons are not far fetched at all; she nailed the performance vocally better than on the actual record IMO. Great stuff.

Ummm … I guess. She sounds good, but the song is boring to me.
Same here. The performance was way better. I love her voice, but the song is so boring it could bore boredom itself.

Its been a while since we’ve had music that actually contains real vocals on the track. Now days its a beat with a chorus that repeats itself over and over again. Go Leona….strong vocals fo’ suure.
She can definitely sing the song just sucks. She definitely reminds me of Mariah. It’s kind of weird. This performance reminds me of one of Mariah’s old performances. But she sounds good. She just needs a better song.
