Diva Mariah Carey stopped by the Regis & Kelly show today to plug her… everything lol. Though I commend Mimi’s promo hustle, I can’t help but feel irked everytime she uses her marriage for promotion (which is exactly what it is). Yes, the interviewers ask her about it, but surely she or her team could find means to eliminate that line of questioning from the possible pool of questions. I mean, ol Mimi has been married nearly two years now. Must we hear the same regurgitated story of how Nick (Cannon) proposed in every interview? Upon that, why isn’t she performing on these shows? Hasn’t she or her team seen ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’s current position on the Billboard 200 – #118. I’m just saying…

The Mariah and Rihanna flops were news-worthy because they are both huge stars. Chris Brown flopping this year after what happened, and considering the fact he’s doing little promo, is not really surprising.
Firstly, Mariah chatting about Nick is tired for sure. However, I don’t think she can help herself and doesn’t mind them asking her. She looks hot btw.
Secondly, It was reported by either Sam or Trent earlier in the week that Chris’ album is gonna flop, so I don’t get any of the above points.
I don’t get the show any more in my area :(, so I want to know…the Mariah segment was pre-taped, right? She was speaking with Regis, not Jeff Probst.

MOIA is a wrap. I doubt that IDJ is going to pop any more money into this project. The album will limp along selling 9-5k per week. It probably won’t get to gold until around April/May of next year.
