Despite initially claiming he didn’t have a desire to press charges against his baby mama/singer-songwriter DaniLeigh during a heated exchange on Instagram live over the weekend (as we reported here), ‘Red Light Green Light’ hitmaker DaBaby has given authorities the green light to move forward with legal proceedings.

At the rate assault allegations are being hurled at DaBaby, the 29-year-old is becoming known for his hits off the Billboard charts as much as on them.

Over the last year, the rapper (born Jonathan Kirk) has topped and denied multiple headlines for reports of assault including slapping a woman in a Florida nightclub, assaulting a Miami club promoter, and attacking a hotel worker (click here to read more).

Now, the owner of a California rental property joins the list of reported victims.

Christofher Pocasangre, an employee of Marriott, is the latest to blame it on baby “it,” in this case, being allegations of assault.

The Beverly Hills hotel worker says he’s the victim of battery and emotional distress after DaBaby delivered a beatdown to him back in 2019.

Now, he’s suing the hit rapper for an undisclosed sum.

‘Blame It on Baby’ hitmaker DaBaby says he’s been falsely blamed (yet again) for assaulting an unsuspecting victim.

Not even two months after catching a lawsuit for slapping a woman at a Florida concert (click here to read), the 28-year-old (born Jonathan Kirk) allegedly laid hands on a Las Vegas driver after a heated argument.

As the story began making its rounds, Kirk and his attorney took to social media to defend his good name.

DaBaby (born Jonathan Kirk) may have claimed the recent beatdown he gave his ex-girlfriend’s brother was self-defense, but now – if the assailed has his way – the rapper will be defending himself in court over the matter.

With serious criminal charges hanging over Tory Lanez‘s head, one would assume the star had enough heat on his hands.

However, the 29-year-old – who stands accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion – had ample time to tweet what appears to be a response to the drama drenching his friend DaBaby in the wake of the shocking homophobic comments made at Rolling Loud Miami.

And after catching flack (and possibly a case) for joining the embattled rapper on-stage, Lanez is rising to his defense.

The official release comes weeks after West posted a similar version on Twitter.

His first released musical effort since conceding the presidential race last week (click here to read more on that), see Yeezy score a much needed win with this soon-to-be-hit:

Well, that didn’t take long.

Not even a week after a video surfaced of DaBaby striking a woman in the face during his appearance at a Tampa night club (March 7), the person allegedly on the receiving end of that assault is striking back – in a courtroom.

Controversy be damned, Tory Lanez‘ dedicated fans come through again for the embattled rapper.

Unlike his music industry buddy DaBaby, who is experiencing some of the worst commercial activity of his career courtesy of his latest album, ‘Baby on Baby 2,’ Lanez – currently under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department for his reported role in shooting Megan Thee Stallion and assaulting R&B singer August Alsina – has driven his latest project into the top 10 of the refreshed Billboard 200 despite minimal promotion during its rollout week.
