Liam Neeson Fans Condemn Media For Ignoring Mark Wahlberg’s Attack On Black Children

Published: Friday 8th Feb 2019 by David

Fans of the actor Liam Neeson are criticising the media for its harsh response to his recent race-related admission as it “overlooks” the atrocities Mark Wahlberg carried out against communities of colour.

Atrocities, which saw him blind a Vietnamese man and attack African-American children.

In June 1986, Mark chased after three black children screaming the words “kill the n******” as he pelted them with rocks.

Then, in the April of 1998, he assaulted an elderly Vietnamese man and blinded him permanently…hours after he launched a vicious attack a middle-aged Asian family man named Thanh Lam with a wooden stick. The innocent man was left unconscious.

These incidents only scratch the surface which is why Neeson critics and supporters have questioned the entertainment industry’s decision to overlook Mark’s crimes as it rightfully condemns Neeson’s.

Mark is yet to respond.

Lol black ppl been dragging Mark Walbergh for that s*** i remember it being brought up years ago and him talking about that changed bs. Them tryna justify what Liam is hilarious.

I mean, was the African American community really checking for Mark Wahlberg to begin with? I know I wasn’t checking for him, but maybe I’m in the minority.

  6. eric February 8, 2019

Mark already addressed this and he has a permanent felony record for what he did. It doesn’t change the fact that he is still being supported by blacks and people of other races, but his past isn’t something he’s hiding.

And why are supporters of racial equity and equality asking for conversation and change if we’re gonna turn around and say people like Liam and Mark can’t change and learn how wrong racism is?? If that’s the case, get rid of BLM, the NAACP and close up every civil rights musuem from Atlanta to Washington. Give people a chance to change if you want greater harmony in the world. Judge Liam by the last 40 years of his life and I’m pretty sure you’ll see change.

How about no? Actions have consequences and real lives have been affected. We won’t forgive or forget just because you can’t stand the heat that comes with accountability.

Your comment shows your out of touch. Each black group you named are to uplift and protect the black culture, They’re actually not for other cultures they are for us. We only share our story to allow people to have a better understanding of where we came from and experienced. Mark is a racist there isn’t a way to change that because we are in a viral stage of having so much access to help us think before we act and he and Liam don’t see that by choice. I commend Liam for his honesty but that type of mindset is embedded and he has to go. if you can’t go on youtube and look up what you don’t understand then there isn’t any hope for you.

@ The baddest. That is one component of many. They also exist to educate, build bridges and create unity between all people. Follow your own advice to study what those establishments are about.

If we follow your logic, then Kevin Hart, for instance, would not deserve forgiveness and he should be outed from the industry along with every other person who has ever said or done anything to be considered hateful or against race, color, religion, gender… basically all the principles important to the establishments I already mentioned. People can change and should be forgiven when that change is demonstrated, unless you believe every black man and woman released from prison should never be forgiven and allowed the chance to return to society. You’re missing the principle of the whole situation.

This is completely ignorance, leave Mark and Liam alone these two men admitted their wrong doings period lets just stone them but who hasn’t been wrong for a racists comment, thought, assuming. Also, unfortunately we are constantly profiling another human being.

I am a black person . I do not feel as if Liam Neeson was being a racist when he said what he said . Let’s be real people . No matter what race the person was . If you were told a Chinese man had r**** someone that you cared about . You would of been like that Chinese b****** or b**** . If an Indian had done it you would of been like that Indian b****** or b**** . Just for examples . Now if he had said for example that black n***** or m***** then yes it’s a racist comment. . As for Mark Wahlberg my goodness he was still a child . Nine years old with running after black kids calling them n******. And 16 years old attacking a Vietnamese man . He was a troubled child at that time . He was a child . He is a man now . And he has apologized to society for that . And he has already been punished for that . So you can’t throw that in his face forever . HE WAS A CHILD.

That’s your personal opinion. You’re not the spokesman for all black folk. We all have the agency to deal and process and forgive or not, in whichever way we please.

Also, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice and how many others were children too but to hear people tell it, they were criminals beyond redemption and deserve to die. So let’s not act like the playing field is ever level when talking about white people and their wicked racism since the beginning of time.

      • thanosoftitan February 8, 2019

I like the way you communicated your thoughts.

    • Kuzzi February 8, 2019

He said he was looking to kill *ANY* Black b****** and not just the one who allegedly r**** his friend
That is very dangerous that he would attack a random Black person for what one allegedly did. Thay is racist. And don’t tell Black people what to do. Who do you think you are?

    • Are you Kidding Me? February 9, 2019

If you are going to make a point, at least make a logical one. Yes, we may feel a flare of anger towards a specific race due to a loved one being hurt. BUT WE DO NOT GO OUT FOR SEVERAL WEEKS WITH THE INTENT OF KILLING THE FIRST PERSON FROM THAT RACE THAT WE SEE! A White man could r*** a Black woman, she forgives him and you’d call him a “reformed r*****”. It is tragic what is excused with White people, but wouldn’t with anyone else. And the “past is the past” excuse is BS. If you were dating someone and they had a criminal past, you WOULD take that into account. People don’t get to just say, “I’ve changed” and for MANY it is simply words.

  9. Truth-hurts February 8, 2019

White priveledge, Trump is giving the racist, Zionists a voice, we turning fast back to the times of Rosa Parks, at the surface it’s all hunky dory, but behind the surface, racism is all time high in institutions. Liam Neeson, what made him say that? even if he said it in the past, don’t bring it up. Mark Wahlberg is a racist piece of bleep, I’ve never seen him act with any coloured actors comfortably.

    • eric February 8, 2019

Sure looked comfortable to me in Four Brothers, directed by John Singleton who advocates for people of color. There are plenty of other films old, new and everything in-between.

  10. Lickmynuts allday February 8, 2019

I think ur all a bunch of assholes if truth be told everyone that left a comment has at one time or another been racist but ur quick to point ur finger at someone else jerks

    • Kuzzi February 8, 2019

He said he wanted to kill any random Black guy. That is the dangerous racism that has led to the actual deaths of many Black people over the course of hundreds of years till this very day. You can’t tell people how they should feel about this or say these violent racist should be forgiven just because others have engaged in passive racism. Who do you think you are?

  11. Pepe Le Pew February 9, 2019

I agree. After hearing about this years ago I never looked at Mark Wahlberg the same again. It kills me how he does everything he can to keep tho from coming up again. #cancelMARKtoo

  12. Kristine February 10, 2019

My thoughts are Mark Wahlberg did his time oh, and has done nothing but try to make up for it ever since then. He’s a man who has completely changed his life around doing nothing more than trying to give back to the society that he harmed very long ago.
The second part is it should be noticed this man he supposedly blinded where is already blind by the time Mark Wahlberg attacked him. Mark Wahlberg has never been pardoned for what he did. Yet people refuse to drop it. Especially in light of the fact of all the stated above. He has done nothing but try to reform himself. No good deed goes unpunished however.
