Report: Channing Tatum To Leave Marvel For DC Comics?

Published: Monday 6th Jun 2016 by David

Channing Tatum‘s role in the forthcoming Gambit movie may be in danger.

Details below…

The actor signed on to portray the Southern gentleman in a live action version of his Marvel story following his success in the movie ‘Magic Mike.’

Now, it seems things may have changed.

For, the project no longer has a release date, was forced to replace with its director with Rupert Wyatt and, much to the horror of its fans, may lose to Tatum to a DC Comics role.

Yes, I always said that the dude from the Wolverine movie was perfect casting for Gambit like Ryan Reynolds was perfect for Dead Pool. I did not see Channing pulling off Gambit anyway.

Also, leving (Fox) Marvel for DC doesnt seem like a good idea. Even with the travesty that was X-Men Apocalypse. They have a better record than DC.

Where is the ‘report’? The link presented in this story is an article from 2004 confirming Will Smith’s appearance in Suicide Squad.
