Moments ago, Ciara announced her involvement with new Nickelodeon show ‘America’s Most Musical Family.’ And, while its not being serviced via ‘Why Not You,’ it’ll see the singer serve as both a judge and executive producer:
Per THR, 30 families compete over 12 episodes for a recording contract with Republic Records and a cash prize of $250,000.
Joining the ‘Beauty Marks’ belter on the judging panel are Debbie Gibson and YouTube star David Dobrik. Nick Lachey will anchor as host.
The news comes as it’s been revealed that Ci and Russell have joined forces with Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade to bring the inspiring story of NFL star Vernon Turner to the big screen.
According to Deadline, The Wilsons (via Why Not You Productions) and The Wades (via I’ll Have Another / 59th & Prairie Ent) will bring Turner’s book ‘The Next Level: A Game I Had To Play’ to life as producers.
A story of hardships and triumphs, it chronicles Turner making it to the NFL despite countless odds and his hearty motivations to save his family.
