The film is only a cash grabber from all the people who want to watch ONCE for nostalgia. The original animated flick really made an impact and is way more successful at the box office adjusting to inflation. Another proof is the total lack of interest in the new soundtrack, while the original is iconic and was one of the best sellers ever among soundtracks. Also worth the mention the critical reception has not been good. Baeuty and the Beast had better reviews (even though it was equally unimpactfull, just a cash grabber too).

I agree. The original had Elton John singing / producing and he made the soundtrack all about the movie. Tho Beyonce album is all about her and people are just tired of her. It’s like we like you Bey but give the public a break. This is the public’s way Of telling her to sit down for a while. America likes a comeback story not a constantly in your face story!
