The latest ‘Basketball’ season has seen a large number of its viewers turn against its leading ladies to stand in solidarity with OG Chijindu, a supporting cast member who has been subjected to colourist jabs and racially coded insults since she joined the series.
One of these jabs saw one of her cast mates compare her to a monkey.
Criticism of the show reached new levels when fans discovered that large portions (most of which saw Chijindu outline the show’s habit of bullying and ostracising black women) of its two-part reunion special were pulled out.
Enraged, said viewers took to Twitter to demand answers from Malaysia Pargo.
Her response echoed sentiments first shared by Shaunie O’Neal.

L.A basketball was doing good until Shaunie and her crust crew came over. Shaunie & the crust crew ratings drop because all that unnecessary drama. Once they came over I stop watching & especially when they Bullied Brandi of the show.
These fans should invest the energy they’re giving to this show and it’s antics to a situation or cause that truly matters. ?
