As the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preps its return tonight on Bravo, one of the shows its popularity inspired may be on the brink of destruction after two of its stars seemed to tell its viewers to stop watching.
Ok well we won’t watch your show anymore. Will gladly take our ratings elsewhere. 😊

More ‘Basketball Wives’ hoopla below…
“If you get nothing else in life” says the person whose money is contingent on others ie. child support, shows, endorsements, products. Others being invested is the only way you all get paid. No one would buy what you’re selling if not for the show.

The latest ‘Basketball’ season has seen a large number of its viewers turn against its leading ladies to stand in solidarity with OG Chijindu, a supporting cast member who has been subjected to colourist jabs and racially coded insults since she joined the series.
One of these jabs saw one of her cast mates compare her to a monkey.
Criticism of the show reached new levels when fans discovered that large portions (most of which saw Chijindu outline the show’s habit of bullying and ostracising black women) of its two-part reunion special were pulled out.
Enraged, said viewers took to Twitter to demand answers from Malaysia Pargo.
Her response echoed sentiments first shared by Shaunie O’Neal.
The fans care too much.
Some of you are way too invested in the lives of people you don’t know and will never meet. If you get nothing else in life, GET A GRIP. 🤣

Girl, yes. I didn’t realize how much of a follower Keisha was—especially now that she’s part of the “collective.”

Fans now fear the remarks will kick the show’s ratings to new lows if it is renewed by VH1.
Most of us are working class folks, making damn good money….watching trifling reality shows with ppl who have sold themselves to the devil and we the AUDIENCE comment on what we’ve watched. U want to b trifling & don’t want feedback bout how awful U R

But it’s okay for folks to be invested in the lives of people they don’t know and will never meet enough to buy y’all wigs, tshirts, books, sheets, waist shapers, shoes, makeup, teas, shakes, jewelry, cbd, weed. But not invested enough to call you out when y’all wrong #HowSway
