Nearly a year after the formal announcement of its season 2 renewal hit the press (click here to read more), the sophomore run of Lena Waithe and Halle Berry’s BET comedy, ‘Boomerang,’ is set for takeoff on March 11.
Based on the iconic 1992 romantic comedy of the same name (starring Eddie Murphy, Robin Givens, and Berry), the series follows the lives of the children of the film’s main characters as “they try to step out of their parents’ shadows and create legacies of their own.”

The cast isn’t interesting enough for me to watch. Great to see that it was picked up for a second season though.
