Embattled singer/actor Jussie Smollett may have seen the first set of charges surrounding his alleged “hoax hate crime” mysteriously dropped (click here to read more), but if Illinois court officials have their way the 37-year-old won’t luck out twice.

The Illinois Supreme Court on Friday (March 6) denied actor Jussie Smollett’s attempts to thwart a felony court case against him, the second time he’s been formally accused of lying about a Chicago hate crime he said took place early last year.
The clerk of the Illinois high court published a pair of terse notices, saying simply that Smollett’s motions both to halt the case and to disqualify its special prosecutor have been denied. No explanations were given.

Simply put, the reason why jussie did all this was to UP his fame. He loves being famous and in the spotlight. He thought this stunt would have made him a bigger star. However, even though he lied, in turn it did make him a bigger star, but no one will want to hire him other than FOX. Lol. I’m sure he will work again but people will side eye him for the rest of his life. It was a stupid move!
