Backlash! “Pose” Star Angelica Ross Accused of Trying to ‘Out’ DaBaby in ‘Suspect’ Story

Published: Thursday 5th Aug 2021 by Rashad

DaBaby‘s easily been the hottest topic in music since his controversial showing at Rolling Loud last week (July 25) saw him launch a homophobic rant against ‘men who suck d*ck in parking lots’ and people living with HIV/AIDS.

As expected, a massive fallout ensued – one that’s not only seen him lose endorsement and concert festival appearances but also experience publicly damning from LGBTQ+ allies and advocates, fans, and even fellow celebrities.

Related to the latter, ‘Pose’ star Angelica Ross is the latest celebrity to make headlines for her commentary on the embattled rapper.  Unlike the likes of Elton John, Dua Lipa, Madonna, Miley Cyrus, and others before her, Ross watched the tide turn on her!

Look inside to see the drama that recently unfolded:

Taking to Twitter late Tuesday night (August 3), the transgender actress shared a story of an alleged encounter with the GRAMMY nominee.

“Story time…I actually met DaB*by earlier this year,” she said. “Flew home to ATL and had his gaze stuck on me as I walked towards him because he was standing next to my limo driver. He looked at the sign, then back at me, ‘Miss Ross’ he read aloud. I just laughed & left with my driver.”

Unexpectedly, commenters turned on the actress – suggesting she made up the story for ‘clout.’ Some even inferred her intention was to ‘out’ the rapper as ‘trans-attracted.’

Growing tired of the roasting, Ross responded:

The hoopla spilled over well into the next day.

As of time reported, DaBaby has not weighed in on the commentary.

I’m glad HIS response backfired. So it’s alright for gays to expose & humiliate closet men but it’s unacceptable for someone to offend the LGBTQ Community? Make it make sense for those on the outside looking in because it doesn’t at all.

This has to be one of the worst articles.

Poorly formatted. The use of random, cherry picked Twitter opinions as citations to back the already weak storyline.

And “journalists” are using the term BACKLASH a little too freely these days. Y’all know where that came from.

I will not be crass but how can a man say he wants to be a woman and women are allowing this. Its like the white kids claiming black or Indian ancestry and getting scholarships and opportunities set aside for them originally. Women have babies and their biology reflect that. Can’t get a human to mutilate your genitals take drugs etc. and make up for millions of years of God’s planet crafting the woman’s body. A man will never be a woman and should never be afforded the respect and privileges’ that accompany that title.
