Will Smith is giving back.

For, a new report claims that the Oscar nominee gave out bonuses to help his co-stars.

More details below…

Smith, who produced and stars in the upcoming ‘King Richard’ as the father of tennis superstars Venus and Serena Williams, shelled out his own money, The Hollywood Reporter claims.

Reports claim that Smith earned as much as $40 million and then personally wrote checks to the cast, which includes: Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton, who play Venus and Serena, Tony Goldwyn, Jon Bernthal, and Aunjanue Ellis, among others.

A source claims that Smith gave out the payments on top of what they already received to compensate for the pivot to simultaneous HBO Max release strategy.

As of reporting, Smith has not commented on the matter.

‘King Richard’ opens on November 19 and features original music from Beyonce (as we reported here).

Kind, genuine acts are done without the need of public awareness or validation.

Will Smith is on a reputation public relations tour to get himself in the running of an Oscar nom. If this was a sincere act, this wouldn’t be public knowledge

You say that as if he posted this himself. It said REPORT in case you can’t read. The man has been making movies for almost 30 years. The last thing he has to do is stuff for attention.

Forget the back end payments; they shouldn’t have paid Will that much to begin with if it’s true. It’s not 2006 anymore.

No one deserves a $40m. pay!

He produced the movie as well as starred in it. That point is made clear as day. Therefore his pay reflects that.
