Tina Knowles can add bestselling author to her resume! As she made the New York Times Bestseller list with her memoir ‘Matriarch’.

With the matriarch reaching this great achievement, she drew major congrats and props especially from her superstar daughter Beyonce.

In an Instagram post, the ‘Cowboy Carter’ performer congratulated her mom with the caption:

‘The Mama T was that good?? Ha. You deserve it, I’m so proud!’

Then, Queen Bey gave her mama even more congrats Wednesday (April 30) at Knowles’ book tour stop in D.C.. With former First Lady Michelle Obama there as a moderator, and in a pre-recorded messaged Yoncé gushed over how proud she was of her. She says:

‘Hey mama, it’s B. I’m so excited because I want to congratulate you on having the No. 1 book on the New York Times bestseller list. I’m so proud of you, and this is so well-deserved. Congratulations.”

Also, longtime friend Oprah Winfrey gave the author congrats and celebrating her success. She states:

‘Hello, D.C., hello Michelle Obama and hello Tina Knowles. This news just in, you’re No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list! … Matriarch, No. 1!”  

Kelly Rowland added:

“And just like that, she’s now a “NEW YORK TIMES, BEST SELLING AUTHOR” So happy in this moment, for you! Beyond proud of you! Love You, Ma♥️♥️”

The former Destiny’s Child stylist shared some fun facts about her memoir. That it wasn’t going to be a memoir initially, and as she began telling her story it became one. She expresses:

‘I was going to do a behind-the-scenes type thing with Destiny’s Child and just with the entertainment industry…I was like, it’s time to do a memoir, because I want to leave that legacy for my kids. But I also want to encourage young people and older people to go and record their parents and get those stories’.

Overall, the ‘Matriarch’ storyteller’s story has been a rollercoaster. She says:

‘It’s been amazing, an amazing ride. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world’.
