Executive produced by Ryan Coogler, riding high on the success of his recent film, ‘Sinners,’ the series follows Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), a brilliant young inventor and MIT prodigy who built her high-tech armored suit, rivaling even Iron Man’s.
After proving herself in ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ by aiding the Wakandans in their battle against the Talokanil, Riri now faces a new challenge back home in Chicago.
Back home in Chicago, she tries to return to normal life, but fate has other plans. She crosses paths with Parker Robbins (Anthony Ramos), a mysterious figure with a magical hood and big ambitions. At first, his offer seems promising, but as Riri begins to uncover the darker truths behind his plans.
The show also stars Alden Ehrenreich, Lyric Ross, Anji White, and Manny Montana.‘
