Teyana Taylor got into her Bernadine Harris bag as she channeled the iconic Angela Bassett character from ‘Waiting to Exhale’ for her ‘Saturday Night Live’ promo.

Ahead of the ‘How You Want It?’ singer’s hosting debut, she stepped fully into Bassett’s famed role after ‘SNL’ cast member Ashley Padilla vented about fellow castmate Andrew Dismukes “accidentally” eating her eggplant parm.
Taylor embodied the character from head to toe, complete with the signature look and fiery rage over the grievance.
The skit escalated with her destroying Dismukes’ dressing room and setting his belongings ablaze in a wagon. The ‘A Thousand and One’ actress then delivered Bernadine’s iconic punchline, “Get your (bleep) and get out!”, prompting Dismukes to comically exit alongside the burning wagon.
The moment followed the star’s Golden Globe win for her role as Perfidia Beverly Hills in ‘One Battle After Another’, as well as the recent release of ‘The Rip’, which starred Matt Damon and Ben Affleck on Netflix.
It also comes amid buzz around her Oscar nomination.
Safe to say, the actress had been on a serious roll lately and showed no signs of slowing down.
