Sha’Carri Richardson and her track star boyfriend have both pleaded not guilty following their recent arrests in Florida.

According to reports, Richardson was arrested on one charge of dangerous excessive speeding and cited for additional driving violations. 

Her boyfriend, Christian Coleman, was also taken into custody during the same traffic stop and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer without violence, both misdemeanor offenses.

The incident reportedly occurred in Winter Garden, Florida, after Richardson was allegedly driving more than 100 miles per hour. A police officer in an unmarked vehicle rang their lights and initiated the traffic stop.

This isn’t the first time the couple has had a run-in with the law. Last year, the two were involved in a separate incident at an airport that also drew public attention.

Both Richardson and her boyfriend have since entered not-guilty pleas as the case moves forward.
