In an emotional appearance on the TODAY show, Terry Crews and his wife, Rebecca Crews, shared that she has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease

She was first diagnosed in 2012, with her symptoms progressing over the years.
The actress also shared that one doctor initially thought she was simply working out too hard, while another believed it was anxiety.
However, after several doctor visits, she was ultimately diagnosed with the disease.
Rebecca went on to share that she recently underwent a new focused ultrasound treatment that has helped improve her condition as she continues to fight with strength and grace.
The exciting news is that the treatment is already making a difference.
She shared,
“I feel good. I’m able to write my name and my dates, and I’m able to write with my right hand for the first time in probably three years.”
Terry also opened up about the strength of their nearly four-decade marriage, sharing
“Where she’s weak, I’m strong. Where I’m weak, she’s strong. And we’ve built each other up like that for almost 37 years.”
