The doors of Hillman College are officially reopening.
The highly anticipated new chapter of ‘A Different World‘ has unveiled its first trailer, offering a glimpse at the next generation set to take center stage.

Leading the charge is Deborah Wayne, played by Maleah Joi Moon, the youngest daughter of beloved originals Whitley Gilbert and Dwayne Wayne.
As she embarks on her own journey at Hillman, Deborah finds herself surrounded by a fresh crop of students navigating identity, ambition, love, and life.
Fan favorites Jasmine Guy, Kadeem Hardison, Cree Summer, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Darryl M. Bell are also set to reprise their iconic roles.
Adding another familiar flavor to the revival, Brandy has been tapped to sing the iconic ‘A Different World’ theme song for the new series.
Created by Felicia Pride and executive produced by Debbie Allen, the 10-episode dramedy premieres September 24, 2026.
