Just like Michael B. Jordan who joined a historic crew of Black men to win the Best Actor OSCAR at the Academy Awards on Sunday (March 15), Ice Cube saw his name added to an exclusive list of Black male actors for his performance in a 2025 film.

The difference, however, is Cube (born O’Shea Jackson) probably won’t be celebrating the news.

When Law Roach spilled on Zendaya already being married to Tom Holland, the collective shock was paired with questions around whether the style maestro spoke prematurely.

Paramount+ is set to become the company’s lone subscription streamer in the U.S. after confirming plans to absorb BET+ later this year.

The move, announced internally by BET Networks president Louis Carr, will see more than 1,000 hours of programming from the platform migrate to Paramount+.
