RuPaul is no stranger to seeing that legendary name penciled in history books, so it should come as little surprise it will now be added to the record logs of the EMMYs.

Ahead of the airing of the 72nd annual primetime edition of the ceremony Sunday (September 20), the star – born RuPaul Charles – took home his fifth consecutive “Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program” trophy for ‘Rupaul’s Drag Race’ at the 2020 Creative Arts EMMYS Saturday (September 19), a feat that broke the record previously owned by Jeff Probst (‘Survivor’).

As if that wasn’t enough to celebrate, Sunday night Charles nabbed the golden statuette in the “Emmy for Outstanding Reality or Competition Program.”

Despite her credits ranging from stage to film and television, Alfre Woodard‘s illustrious 30+-year career has seen her most celebrated for roles on the small screen.

Quietly reigning as Black Queen of the EMMYs, the legendary actress has taken home more golden statuettes from the ceremony than any of her Black counterparts (four to be exact).

Now, thanks to the 2020 edition of the awards show, she’s sharing that throne as Academy and EMMY Award darling Regina King has tied her longstanding record.

Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ segments, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s retrospective segment – a written quest, if you will, to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday.

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of Pop and Urban Pop music hits.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Queen of Pop Madonna‘s first album of the millennium, this week we’ll replay her eighth studio effort, ‘Music.’

It’s pretty safe to say many thought Odell Beckham Jr. was having a pretty sh*tty week thanks to trending on Twitter after a groupie reported he enjoyed sexual play with feces, but he’s laughing off the criticism.

The woman – an adult actress named “Slim Danger” – took to the ‘No Jumper’ podcast recently to tell friends Celina Powell and Aliza the football star requested she defecate on him during one of their alleged sexual encounters.  Elsewhere during their many sexual escapades (according to Danger), OBJ even called for the poopy performer to not wear underwear or “shower for 24 hours” – another reported fetish of his.

For most of the week Beckham’s been mum about the hoopla that ensued after her confession.  That changed Thursday (September 17) when he took to the ‘Uninterrupted’ podcast to tackle the topic head-on.

Nene Leakes has left the house she helped build.

As reported, the outspoken star has officially departed the ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ – after negotiations between her team and the show’s producers hit an impasse.

Despite making volcanic comments aimed at all at those at the helm of the hit Bravo show (so much so that rumors of legal action went into overdrive), Leakes pivoted and instead soaked her announcement in gratitude.

Her sentiments have since been echoed by both Bravo and Andy Cohen.

Late last year, news of a reboot of ‘The Game’ excited fans in earnest.

As reported, the popular dramedy was set to be revived at The CW.

Retooled as an hour-long weekly series, the refreshed show reunited originals such as Wendy Raquel Robinson, Tia Mowry, Hosea Chanchez, and Pooch Hall with new names for a new story.

Those plans didn’t pan out. However, there’s no need to fret because it looks like it’s been green-lit elsewhere.

Amid an ongoing firestorm of negative press (as we have reported here), Tamar Braxton‘s new reality series – ‘Get Ya Life’ – debuted on WEtv Thursday (September 10).

First scheduled for a July 30 launch, the show’s premiere was postponed after the GRAMMY-nominee’s highly publicized suicide attempt stemming from drama allegedly related to her presentation in it.

Without its star hitting the promo trail in its support, the program made a less-than-stellar debut last week.
