We may be over two years away from the premiere of the sequel to Disney’s blockbuster ‘Black Panther’ (click here to read more), but excitement is already brimming over the forthcoming film.

And, Angela Bassett – thanks to comments made while she was hot on the promo trail in support of the March 16th return (after winter break) of her hit FOX crime drama, ‘9-1-1’ – has only sent that anticipation into overdrive.

Working the talk show circuit Wednesday (March 12) and Thursday (March 13), the Emmy and Academy-award nominated actress dropped by ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ and ‘Live with Kelly & Ryan’ respectively to dish on both ventures, what fans can expect, and some unexpected surprises.

Mark April 12th on your calendar! Because it brings with it the return of HBO‘s hilarious hit series, ‘Insecure.’

The Issa Rae-led comedy, which has been off the air for over a year, is finally returning for its long-awaited fourth.  As That Grape Juice reported here, the new season will boast a whopping 10 episodes (the most for any of its seasons to date).

Now, it’s emerged that the hotly anticipated action flick – which features Vin Diesel and John Cena – has been pushed back by a year.

Previously scheduled to premiere April 24, Orion Pictures has announced its highly anticipated hidden-camera comedy, ‘Bad Trip,’ will now roll into theaters on April 17.

Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the film, which stars Eric André, Lil Rel Howery, Tiffany Haddish, and Michaela Conlin, was originally planned to be unveiled at SXSW 2020 before the Austin-based festival was canceled due to concerns related to the coronavirus outbreak.

Moving full steam ahead, the project – produced by Jeff Tremaine (‘Jackass,’ ‘Bad Grandpa’) –  has an updated trailer ahead of its new release date.

While music award shows, individual artist concerts, and multiple concert festivals (i.e. SXSW, Coachella) are being suspended due to coronavirus fears (putting the music business in the position to lose billions in its wake), the music realm is certainly not the only branch of entertainment being rocked by fears of the disease (COVID-19).

After the World Health Organization (WHO) officially declared the outbreak a “pandemic” Wednesday (March 11), television production companies and shows took notice and action.

Like we reported here, ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ was among the first daytime series to announce intent to exercise safety by filming without an audience.  As that news made its rounds, a number of other top-rated talk shows – daytime and primetime – followed suit.
