Khloe Kardashian has been juggling joy with jabs. For, she welcomed her first child within a week of partner Tristan Thompson being caught up in a cheating scandal – with two women.

Still, as is customary with celebrity baby births, all attention has turned to what the youngster has been named.

Starbucks is in the middle of an enormous crisis.

Last week, the company was forced to assess the way in which it treats its African-American customers after two African-American men were forcefully removed from one of its stores by police.

Their supposed crime? Waiting for a friend.

For some reason, the comedian Kevin Hart decided to stand in the way of criticism the business was facing for not firing the store’s manager.

What one of them purports to reveal? Moore’s supposed plot to bag a wealthy man with romantic ties to several women in the ‘Real Housewives of New York‘ series.

‘The Real Housewives Of Potomac’ are back!

Past instalments have seen etiquette serve as the center of conflict. However, the show’s third cycle sees drama between the Maryland matriarchs escalate like never before.

‘Potomac’ originals Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, and Robyn Dixon are back in the mix. As is last season’s addition Monique Samuels.

No nonsense newcomer Candiace Dillard (a former Miss America) has been cast as a full time Housewife – replacing Charrisse Jackson-Jordan who will now appear in a “Friend Of” capacity.

With actress Erica Ash (‘Survivor’s Remorse’, ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’) tapped to topline, April 10th brought with it the unveiling of BET’s fast-paced legal drama, ‘In Contempt.’  Featuring a star-studded cast filled out by the likes of Richard Lawson, Christian Keyes, and more, the series sees Ash portray “Gwen Sullivan” (a talented, tough, and opinionated public defender whose passion for her work makes her hated among her colleagues in an unforgiving legal system).

Its premiere this week was greeted by a wealth of promising reviews from viewers who took to social media to express their approval and anticipation for what was to come.  Unfortunately, that fanfare was not reflected by the week’s end when official ratings were revealed.  Not even placing in the top 50 most watched shows of the night, ‘In Contempt’ managed to rake in….

Halle Berry‘s portrayal of infamous DC Comics character, “Catwoman” (in the 2004 movie of the same name), not only came as one of the franchise’s poorest box office performers, but also the most critically panned film of the Academy Award winner’s career.

Earning her a Golden Raspberry Award (also known as “Razzies”), the industry-wide disapproval of the flick – an opinion Berry implied she shared at the time – hasn’t hurt the actress’s career too bad (we’d like to think), but now the 51-year-old is changing her tune.

Speaking to a much-receptive audience at this week’s GLAAD awards, Halle did a little more than hint she’s not only interested in reprising the role, but that it deserves another scratch at the box office thanks to the mega-success of ‘Black Panther’ (currently the most successful superhero movie of all time).

T.I. is determined to celebrate and uplift his community with the original content he is committed to producing on stage and on screen.

Criticised in the past for engaging in misogynoir (see his thinly veiled threats towards Azealia Banks) the brilliant performer turns a new leaf by using his social media platforms to celebrate black history and share his occasionally controversial views on the black family.

His latest move? The creation of a new TV series designed to find entrepreneurs within the African-American community.

Over the years, the Kerry Washington-led show has boasted some of the most dramatic twists and turns in TV history; and its final ever episode promises this in earnest.

Less than three weeks separate us from the highly anticipated HBO Sports documentary series, ‘Being Serena.’

A five part event kicking off May 2, the doc – as we previously reported – will chronicle tennis star Serena Williams’ life from pregnancy into new motherhood, marriage, and, of course, her triumphant return to the tennis court.
