Los Angeles last night played host to the world premiere of Marvel‘s hotly anticipated blockbuster ‘Black Panther.’

Due in theaters February 16th, the film –  which is anchored by Chadwick Boseman and features a star-studded cast – is tipped to become one of the biggest box office successes of all-time. And that’s just based on pre-sale tickets.

A few weeks remain until the masses will be able to see the movie epic, but its cast offered an elaborate preview of the spectacle ahead at the premiere.

Posing it up on the elaborate purple carpet were the likes of Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Daniel Kaluuya, director Ryan Coogler, and Angela Bassett.

Other familiar faces in attendance included Usher, Donald Glover, Janelle Monae, and Yara Shahidi.

In the ninth season of Bravo’s hit show ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Porsha Williams found herself in deep heat when, during an argument with cast mate Kandi Burruss, she revealed that she had heard the acclaimed singer/songwriter had joked about drugging and raping her.

It later emerged that Porsha was fed the lie by her former friend Phaedra Parks and one of the show’s producers. Horrified and embarrassed by the deception, Williams apologised to Burruss for going public with a claim she believed was true.

Alas, her efforts to make amends with Burruss have fallen flat.

Enraged by the way Williams has  been treated by Kandi and her friends?

Lauded for its unique and suspenseful take on the happenings behind the scenes at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), BET’s primetime drama ‘The Quad’ – led by Tony Award-winning/Grammy-nominated actress Anika Noni Rose – burst onto the scene last year a winner among critics and fans.

Debuting with a 2-hour pilot, a la BET’s other hit drama, ‘Being Mary Jane,’ the response to the film was clear indication viewers wanted to know more about the show’s well-developed characters.  Once season 1 wrapped in March 2017, there was little buzz surrounding the show until late last year when promo began to circulate around its season 2 return.
