Today, we return to 1993 to revisit ‘Six Degrees of Separation’, the Schepisi-directed drama starring Will Smith.

In it, Smith plays a con man named a young man named Paul who convinces a wealthy couple that he is the son of the actor Sidney Poitier.

Enamoured by his charm, wit and talent, the couple soon find themselves adopting him and welcoming him to their opulent lifestyle. Alas, it isn’t long before the truth emerges.

Buck’s unorthodox…everything serves as the focus of the show’s conflict and resolution.

Idris-Elba-Michaela-Cole-that-grape-juice

Idris Elba & the rising actress Michaela Coel were among the many who made their way to London’s Royal Festival Hall to celebrate this year’s BAFTA TV Awards.

Celebrating the best of what British television had to offer viewers in the last year, the event honoured the comedian Lenny Henry for his services to entertainment and fight for on-screen diversity as well as award Coel and her hit TV series ‘Chewing Gum.’
