FOX are set to up the ante in January with the debut of new procedural drama ‘9-1-1.’
Anchored by a stellar list of names including Angela Bassett and Peter Krause, the show is the brainchild of Ryan Murphy, who counts ‘American Horror Story’ and ‘The People vs O.J.’ among his many successes.
As for the premise of the series, ‘9-1-1’ follows the professional and personal lives of a group first responders: police, paramedics and firefighters.
Touted as an integral part of the network’s midseason schedule, a titillating trailer has been released.

As fans recall, pop icon Cher was originally attached as the film’s star and executive producer, but cited “family issues” as her reasons for pulling out. Never to worry, Scott and Latifah have carried the torch in her stead with the film now titled ‘Flint.’ And, if the heart-tugging trailers are anything to judge by, they exceeded every expectation.
