Justin Bieber has never shied away from his Christian faith nor his love of God.
And now he’s made his most public declaration yet.
Because the singer just surprise-released a six-track Gospel EP titled ‘Freedom.’
The unannounced arrival of the project is unique on a number of fronts, one of the most notable being that it landed within the launch frame of his chart-topping seventh secular offering, ‘Justice.’

With DMX battling for his life after suffering a heart attack as a result of an overdose, the rapper’s family has issued a formal statement.
Their words come as fans and contemporaries clamor for definitive word about the star’s condition after his attorney claimed he was taken off life support and breathing on his own — only to recant the comment citing the fact he was given the wrong information.
In reality, sources say DMX currently still has little brain function and is not responsive.

With Easter upon us, From The Vault is back this week and this time with a Gospel classic.
Today’s pick is the infectious ‘God In Me’ by Mary Mary.
Released as the second single from the sister duo’s 2008 fourth studio album ‘The Sound’, the track featured the anointed Kierra “Kiki” Sheard and was a huge success for the ladies.
Indeed, it peaked at #68 on the Billboard Hot 100 – their first entry on the tally since breakout single ‘Shackles (Praise You).’ It also reached the fifth position on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
While boasting a similar sound to what artists like T-Pain and Lil’ Wayne were releasing in the late 00’s, the song was lyrically unique in that it was about putting God first in all situations.
Depicting a glamorous fashion show, the tune’s visual benefited from appearances by Kanye West and then-girlfriend Amber Rose, Heavy D, Common, and Fonzworth Bentley to name a few.
The video ended up causing controversy because of the inclusion of “secular” guests but was still a regular on BET.
With the sisters currently taking some time off to explore solo ventures, we can’t wait for them to pick back where they left off and bless us with more of their crossover flavor of Gospel that the masses have loved for over two decades.
With millions around the world celebrating the resurrection, the That Grape Juice team has curated a compilation of Gospel anthems to mark the momentous occasion.
A TGJ Easter 2021 fuses powerful tracks from the likes of Kirk Franklin, Destiny’s Child, Mariah Carey, Sunday Service Choir, Kierra Sheard, Tamela Mann, Whitney Houston, and the legendary Clark Sisters.

Love her or loathe her, one thing that can’t be knocked is Iggy Azalea‘s grand hustle.
Despite virtual absence from radio since 2016, the now-independent diva – thanks to undeniable bops and high quality music videos – continued to be one of the most consistent female rappers in the history of the genre.
That consistency may translate to praise and adoration from her dedicated fan base, affectionately called #Azaleans, but it hasn’t always morphed into commercial acclaim – a truth Azalea took to Twitter over the weekend to suggest isn’t just happenstance.
No stranger to seeing the words “first” and “only” associated with many of his stats, making Billboard history is far from an uncommon occurrence for Pop pinup Justin Bieber.
And while most of his accomplishments (big and small) are trumpeted by his beloved fan base, affectionately called #Beliebers, there’s a chance this quietly set record may have slipped past them.
