Chloe x Halle bring the heat in the video for ‘Do It.’

The fire-filled bop is the latest offering from the duo’s second studio album ‘Ungodly Hour,’ which arrives via Parkwood/Columbia on June 5th.

Having established the core of their artistic proposition, the singing sisters build on it by taking it to the dancefloor.

Slick, crisp, and confident, the ladies look set to make waves anew with this infectious jam.

With little warning, as we reported here, Future has returned with his eighth studio effort ‘High Off Life.’

A star-studded affair lined with appearances from some of Hip Hop’s heaviest hitters like Young Thug, DaBaby, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Meek Mill, and Drake, the project features the 4X platinum megahit, ‘Life is Good’ (which boasts Drizzy as a co-star).

Boasting a whopping 21 tracks, the DJ Esco-executive produced album is Future’s first LP since debuting at No. 1 in January 2019 with ‘The WIZRD.’

After a slew of buzz singles in the form of moderate hits ‘Never Really Over,’ ‘Small Talk,’ ‘Harleys In Hawaii,’ and ‘Never Worn White,’ Pop singer Katy Perry has unleashed the official first single from her fifth studio album.

Titled ‘Daisies,’ the tune was announced last week just days ahead of confirmation its yet-titled parent project was due to hit shelves August 14 (click here to read more about that).

A song about triumphing over trials, its lyrics beam about overcoming obstacles:

“They said I’m going nowhere / Tried to cut me out / Took those sticks and stones / Showed them I could build a house / Tell me that I’m crazy / Never let them change me / So they cover me in daisies,” she proclaims in the chorus.

Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ segments, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s retrospective segment – a written quest, if you will, to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday.

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of Pop and Urban Pop music hits.

In celebration of the 29th anniversary of its release (May 14), this week we’re reliving the magic of Paula Abdul‘s sophomore album, ‘Spellbound.’

As we reported here, Tekashi 6ix9ine sent a warning to Billboard Wednesday (May 13) to let chart officials know his latest single, ‘GOOBA,’ should debut atop next week’s Hot 100 due to its commanding streaming lead against closest competitor ‘Stuck With U’ – the benefit single from Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.

While not pinpointing the Scooter Braun-managed duo, it was clear who he was alluding to when discussing the “cheating” methods some artists have resorted to for chart glory (including payola and single bundling).

Its likely his stance was reinforced after Amazon announced every purchase of the Bieber and Grande’s tune would see the retail giants donate $5 to the First Responders Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports the children and families of first responders and COVID-19 frontline workers through college scholarships and special grants.

All roads lead to June for Teyana Taylor, who will be unleashing ‘The Album’ during said month.

Hotly anticipated, the project serves as her third studio effort and follows 2018’s ‘K.T.S.E.’

Ahead of its arrival, the multi-talented chanteuse has unwrapped a sneak peek of the video for latest single ‘Bare Wit Me.’

A slick, choreographed affair that pays homage to Janet Jackson’s 1990 ‘Alright’ video, it sees Taylor dance up a storm.

Tank has been a fixture in front of and behind the R&B scenes for over 20 years.

When not flexing his penmanship for some of the genre’s most prized acts including Kelly Rowland, Fantasia, Chris Brown, Keith Sweat, Tyrese, Jennifer Hudson, Keyshia Cole, and many more, he’s penned and performed his own treasure chest of Platinum and Gold-certified gems including ‘When We,’ ‘Please Don’t Go,’ and more across 9 studio albums and other musical projects.

That Grape Juice recently sat down with the GRAMMY nominee to discuss his storied career, latest effort (the ‘While You Wait’ EP), venturing into stand-up comedy, the possibility of reuniting with R&B super group TGT (alongside Tyrese and Ginuwine), and so much more.

Cardi B fans are feverishly anticipating the femcee’s sophomore album and have been for a while.

And it’s easy to digest why.

The rapper blazed a trail with chart-topper ‘Bodak Yellow’ and its multi-Platinum parent album ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ – which was released back in 2018.

She’s also racked up GRAMMYs and a growing list of Billboard hits.

Suffice to say, she’s more than whet appetites for her second studio effort. Which begs the question: where is it?

Well, a new report appears to shine light on the behind the scenes happenings that may explain the elongated wait.

Trina made headlines the world over this week when Khia re-heated their beef with a hate-filled rant that went viral.

Over the years, there’s been no love lost between the femcees. But it appears the ‘My Neck, My Back’ rapper is keener than keep to keep the flames burning.

Trina, conversely, seems to have delivered a “case closed” on the matter.

For, during an Instagram Live with 99 Jamz tonight, the Queen of Miami shared receipt after receipt (after receipt) when unpacking why detractors such as Khia have no say over her name, legacy, or pedigree.
