Rob Kardashian who?!

We’re sure that’s the sentiment of former 3Lw leader Adrienne Bailon and her legion of ‘The Real’ fans as she took to the show to announce that she is engaged to Lenny Santiago – Senior Vice President of A&R, Artist Management at Roc Nation.

Also a famed photographer who performs under the moniker KodakLens, the music exec is said to have popped the question while the two were in New York recently.

beyonce ledisit

Beyonce fans across the world rejoiced as confirmed news of the diva’s addition to this Sunday’s Grammy Awards’ performer lineup filled headlines earlier this week.  Joining a star-studded bill that includes Nicki Minaj, Mary J. Blige, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and more, it seemed only fitting that the R&B/pop diva tag along for what some are arguing is the best performance roster the show has seen in years.

Delight over the news began to dull, however, as reports surfaced indicating the songstress would not take the stage to lend a live rendition of hits found aboard her latest chart-topping ‘Beyonce’ album, but would instead be part of the ‘Selma’ soundtrack tribute to offer a rousing rendition of the historic spiritual ‘Precious Lord, Take My Hand,’ as popularized by Mahalia Jackson.

From there it all started to go downhill – especially for fans of Grammy-nominated diva Ledisi who not only portrayed the gospel queen in the film, but was not even invited to participate in the tribute after she recorded the version of the song found on the soundtrack…

As new hit FOX series ‘Empire’ continues to reign over TV competition, viewers are finding more and more reasons to fall in love with the show’s first lady Taraji P. Henson.

Portraying the ever-sassy/sharp-tongued mother figure “Cookie,” the D.C.-born beauty’s tongue-in-cheek humor is finding favor from critics and fans alike as it thematically strays from many of Henson’s previous roles.  When quizzed on the inspiration for the character in a recent ‘Vogue’ interview, readers were stunned to learn that the star looks no further than the Queen B – Lil’ Kim.

Read her interesting quotes below as she reflects on Kim’s influence on hip hop culture, especially as it relates to the genre’s new leading lady Nicki Minaj:
