Do me a favor, pick me up, take me out later
Don’t worry about no paper
Cause I got much stacked up for nights like this
My life can get crazy, I deal with shit on the daily
But baby I’m thinking maybe, we could agree to work it out like this

It’s been ten years since fans of Fergie have had their hands on an official LP from the singer/songwriter and, for a while there, it was looking like it was going to be another ten years before they could boast ownership of ‘Double Dutchess’ – the official follow-up to her chart-topping debut solo project, ‘The Dutchess.’

Reportedly finished as early as March 2016, the album has had many false starts (see:  ‘LA Love,’ ‘Hungry,’ ‘M.I.L.F. $’).  Now, after the release of the tune ‘Life Goes On,’ Fergie Ferg took to Facebook to tell fans she’s finally ready to launch her second solo era.

“I am so ready for this album to come out you have no idea,” she said. “I’ve turned it in. It’s done and it’s coming out the beginning of the year. I’m sorry it’s taken so long, to those of you who have been waiting…”

While we wait to see if she’ll keep her word, tuck in below to hear the songstress herself sound off with details on the serially delayed opus:

August Alsina‘s image has experienced a number of shape-shifts over the years and the latest sees him embrace the experimental even more.

The once “hard-edged” R&B singer rocked an altogether softer look when arriving at a post-AMAs party this week.

Sporting a majestic man-bun (which he paired with a red rose), the star’s ensemble was equally as eye-grabbing.

We’re all for self-expression and subverting the status quo, so good on him for not being bound by “rules” that see folk conform when they don’t need to.

Peep more of August’s sassy style after the jump…
