Nearly a month after the “106 & Park” incident where he scolded the show’s hostess for asking about an ongoing beef with fellow R&B crooner Trey Songz, the ‘I Luv This Sh*t’ singer is still being bombarded with questions about his classic TV moment response.

Most recently taking to Hot 97, the singer even “partially” accepted responsibility for the awkwardness of the moment, talked about the status of his beef with Songz, and talked about his debut album.

For modern R&B, both Beyonce and Aaliyah are hailed as icons and trail-blazers; divas who’ve not only moved the genre forward, but upwards too.

As such, it’s warming to see Bey pay homage to the late ‘Rock The Boat’ singer.

After slowing things down with previous singles ‘Can’t Remember To Forget You’ and ‘Empire’, Shakira picks up the pace for latest effort ‘Dare (La La La)’.

The high-octane cut is the third to be lifted from the Roc Nation diva’s new self-titled album.

A long-time fan favourite, the singer’s supporters will be elated to learn that she’s unwrapped its accompanying video.

Interestingly, the clip was shot in 2012 and was supposed to serve as the lead release from the album she was cooking up at the time. However, motherhood and a subsequent stint on The Voice saw plans change.

Still, as the age old adage goes, better late than never.

Spin.

As her new single ‘Fancy‘ sails towards Pop glory after rising to #7 on the ‘Hot 100’ last week, spin has done a pretty excellent job of presenting its supporting album ‘The New Classic’ as a roaring success.

Unfortunately, if units moved the LP this week are anything to go by, the rapper’s ‘Billboard 200′ peak position of #3 may be the only number the project will be commended for reaching.

Lady GaGa’s current run on the ‘Billboard 200‘ may pale in comparison to her feats of yesteryear, but that hasn’t stopped the ‘Cake‘-maker from birthing  sold-out world tour this year, kicking off the ‘artRAVE:The ARTPOP Tour’ in North America last week.

Far more captivating than her ‘Born This Way Ball‘ outing, her latest touring venture kicked off before the release of her ‘ARTPOP‘ LPs second half, yet to score a release date but set to feature production from her long-time collaborator DJ White Shadow, following the release of 2013’s ‘Applause.’
