With new song ‘East LA,’ two Black Eyed Peas stars will.i.am and Taboo join forces sans member apl.de.ap to toast the spirit of East Los Angeles and raise a glass to the area’s resilience and cultural pride.

“You would think that the idea of border control would make residents feel safe – but it’s pumped fear into our communities. They’re going after people that make our city beautiful,” said Will about the current administration’s immigration policies. “It breaks my heart. I wanted to make this video to change the vibe and celebrate the folks that make our cities great. The very same people who are being disregarded, dehumanized, and demoralized.”

Burna Boy blew the proverbial roof of of London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town with a special show presented by O2.

2000 lucky fans of the African Giant flocked to the venue for the free show, which rewarded O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers, via a Priority from O2 ballot.

And Burna did not disappoint.

Taking seasoned command of the stage, the GRAMMY winner delivered live offerings of several songs from his freshly unwrapped album, ‘No Sign of Weakness.’

Backed by buoyant band and energized dancers, the consummate showman delivered electrifying renditions of ‘Bundle By Bundle’ and ‘TaTaTa.’

Following the show, the superstar’s LP flew in at #6 on the coveted Official UK Album Chart, powered by strong sales and streams.

Ledisi may have just wrapped the ‘Love You Too Tour in June in support of her last traditional studio effort, ‘The Crown,’ but she’s wasting little time getting back on the road to showcase material from her forthcoming tribute album to Blues and Jazz pioneer Dinah Washington.

“Before there was Aretha, there was Dinah. She deserves to be recognized in today’s music as well,” Ledisi said of the upcoming project due October 3.

Ahead of it release and a supportive tour in accompaniment, the GRAMMY winner has lifted the lid on one of its eight tracks as a lead single: ‘This Bitter Earth.’

A #1 hit on the R&B charts for Washington in 1960, Ledisi is undoubtedly hoping to repeat the feat with her stirring rendition of the timeless classic.
