For Mariah Carey, all roads lead to next Monday, May 6th!

The diva extreme is gearing up for the global launch of her new single ‘#Beautiful’ and so as to whip up a buzz for the Miguel assisted cut has unwrapped its official cover.

A collage of sorts, the visual pieces together stills from the song’s Joseph Kahn directed video — which is slated to arrive shortly after the track hits iTunes.

What’s more, in a bid to ensure the song gets off to a ‘#Beautiful’ start, Mimi will be performing it live on the American Idol finale in two weeks, as well as on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series which she kicks off on May 24th.

Kelly Rowland may be putting the finishing touches to her new album ‘Talk A Good Game’, but the solo diva has her eye on the stage. The Destiny’s Child graduate is teaming up with hitmaker The-Dream for a North American trek — christened ‘The Lights Out Tour’.

The multi-city jaunt has been erected to push both Rowland’s record, which is led by Urban hit ‘Kisses Down Low’, as well as The  Dream’s new album ‘IV Play’ which hits stores on May 28th.

Stage blazer Janelle Monae lived up to her billing on BET’s 106 & Park last night.

The dynamo performer was in the house to debut the video for her super-charged new single ‘Q.U.E.E.N (ft. Erykah Badu)’ – the first to be lifted from forthcoming album ‘The Electric Lady’. And while many use their words to relay the effect their music has, Monae took a more practical approach.

Before her US debut album drops, Brit Pop Princess Rita Ora unveils the Rankin/Hunger TV directed video for her ‘ORA‘ jam, ‘Facemelt‘.

Now our second favorite video from the star following her Syndrome led ‘Radioactive’, the clip-albeit short- serves as a commercial for the starlet’s sense of style and winning aesthetic, and has us wishing there was more of it to enjoy.

Having ditched both The X Factor and her fiance, Britney Spears is sporting all new everything these days. However, musically, it seems the singer wants a taste of the familiar.

Enter will.i.am.

The Black Eyed Peas frontman has been an integral part of Spears’ more recent successes, producing their global smash ‘Scream & Shout’, as well as fan-favourite ‘Big Fat Bass’ from 2011’s ‘Femme Fatale’.

As such, it’s little surprise that the 31-year-old’s team have tapped the hitmaker to helm her eighth studio album.
