One year removed from the critically acclaimed ‘Heartbreak on Hold’, Alexandra Burke lands on Adult Contemporary ground with the release of her new EP ‘New Rules’ today.

Delivering it to the UK’s ‘Daily Mail’ this morning, the EP marks her first release since switching management and signing with Trey Songz‘ manager, Kevin Liles.

A move, which has inspired a bolder, soulful and far more honest sound for the ‘What Money Can’t Buy’ beauty.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda.

Released last November, Christina Aguilera‘s latest LP ‘Lotus’ and its under-performance remain one of Pop’s biggest injustices.

While mystery surrounds the bizarre roll-out (or lack thereof of the ‘Your Body’ led set), it’s clear Xtina is moving on to happier and healthier terrain.

And so as to thank the fans that have stuck by her, The Voice star has honored one of their near-year-long requests – to release (or, at least, acknowledge) the ball of fire that is ‘Let There Be Love’.

Produced by Pop maestro Max Martin, the cut was hailed by many as one of the best offerings on the ‘Lotus’ opus and a sure-fire single. As history would have it, the track joins potential smashes such as ‘WooHoo’ and ‘Bionic’ (the song) on the list of unreleased Aguilera gems that could have blazed Billboard and beyond.

Still, in celebrating the track’s popularity, the mother of one has cooked up a “video” of sorts for ‘Love’, which awaits after the jump…

It may have taken a sweet minute, but the campaign for Beyonce‘s fifth studio album switched to fourth gear yesterday when the star took to Brooklyn’s Coney Island to shoot a brand new music video!

Mobbed by fans as she shot scenes for the clip, the icon was joined by supermodels Jessica White and Jourdan Dunn who appear in the piece, joined by photographer Terry Richardson as she shot numerous scenes before the album’s yet to be announced release date.

‘Adorn’ divo Miguel was spotted down under on an Australian promotional tour for his latest smash album ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’.

While on Aussie shores the crooner dropped by the “Fifi & Jules” radio show to lend an unexpected acoustic cover of Pink’s 2002 hit single “Just Like a Pill”.  Putting a very unique yet soulful spin on the tune, the showing comes to tease fans looking to peep the R&B prince live in the coming months.

Word has it he will be back in the States next month for the “Would Like a Tour?” outing with Drake (kicking off Sept. 25).
