With new single ‘Body Party’ blazing Urban radio, Ciara is making her presence felt on the small screen too.

The singer has nabbed a role on hit BET sitcom The Game and moments ago teased a snap of herself in action.

As reported by That Grape Juice TV, season six of The Game kicks off on March 26th. Fellow R&B diva Brandy also stars.

Kudos to Team Ciara for securing opportunities such as this that will inevitably assist the rebuilding of her brand. Viewers of the show easily fit the demographic of her target audience, hence the value pay-off could be sweet depending on her role on the show. A good look.

They’re both MAC girls, both from the Islands and both have an empire kept afloat by undying support from their respective fan bases.

It only makes sense then, that ‘Autobiography’ Rapper Nicki Minaj and occasional vocalist Rihanna have dominated a list tallying the ‘Most Streamed Female Artists’ in the last six months.

If recent events are anything to go by, Lil Kim‘s comeback plans are far more serious than even her own fans could have imagined.

So serious, that in a bid to reignite the fire that once lit her brand, she has shared not one but two new videos today, the first being Tiffany Foxx‘s clip for the single ‘Twisted’.

The second, being the official video for her remix to Rihanna‘s rising smash ‘Pour It Up‘, featuring her boyfriend Mr. Papers.

While the video is a little ‘budget’, we’d be lying if we said weren’t looking forward to the album that will follow it, considering it is to be executive produced by Hip Hop life force Bangladesh.

Last year, they were as thick as thieves. This year, they find themselves in the middle of a heated controversy with either citing the other as the cause.

We’re talking about ‘Murderation’ Rapper Shystie and ‘1991′ MC Azealia Banks of course, whose friendship reportedly turned sour when the video they shot for Shystie‘s single ‘Control It‘ was pulled from Banks’ label Interscope, seemingly damaging the campaign the Rapper had in place to endorse her forthcoming EP.

Now, in response to the drama, the Brit belle took to Twitter to confront Azealia, which resulted in the latter hitting back at both she and her manager.

She’s the Pop starlet responsible for the success of the short-lived, yet influential Pussycat Dolls. Now, after winning over the hearts of the British audience on ‘The X Factor UK’ last year, Nicole Scherzinger continues on her path to solo superstardom with her brand new single ‘Boomerang’.

The high-octane song is one of many topics we discussed with the stage blazer in London earlier this week. Indeed, the diva dished on her upcoming studio album, whether she’ll be returning to The X Factor, past project ‘Her Name Is Nicole’, and much more. As ever, we ask the questions you really want answers to.

Much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ segments, readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.  So in a quest to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday we introduced a new retrospective segment – ‘TGJ Replay’.

Lifted from the MC’s forthcoming album, ‘Excuse My French’, the video is so good we’ve spun it about six or seven times since it hit the net.

Behold the sight that is Rap Queen, Lil Kim.

Sporting a ‘unique’ look during a night out in New York city, the trendsetter was snapped looking a far cry from the MC the world met on ‘Hardcore’ debut in 1996- thanks to what is clearly a case of cosmetic surgery taken too far.

Pictured as she continues work on her long awaited new album, the Grammy winning lyricist was spotted days after continuing her efforts to push Rap’s latest offerring, Tiffany Foxx.

More importantly, her sighting comes after she took to ‘Rap Fix’ to dish on her aforementioned new LP, which she has enlisted ‘Did It On ‘Em’ producer Bangladesh to oversee.

Yet, given that the album has been on sale for three months and Mars is presently preparing for a tour in support of it, many are scratching their heads as to what caused the sales spike.

Wonder no more, as the answer awaits after the jump…
