Now, weeks before she’s set to give birth, the ‘Rumor Has It‘ gem has confirmed these reports. Reports, which accurately revealed she was to join the long list of stars to record an ‘official’ theme tune for the action series.

Her stock as a celeb may have dipped since leaving the X Factor, but the same can’t be said about Cheryl Cole on an ‘aesthetic’ front.

For, as the above snap will attest to, Ms.Cole stakes her claim as one of Pop’s leading lookers in a new ad for ‘L’Oreal’s Elnett.

The pics arrive two days before the launch of her ‘A Million Lights Tour’ in Belfast, Ireland and wraps the campaign two weeks later at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena.

Her fan base may go by the ‘Navy’, but it was the army Rihanna was channeling in LA last night on her way into LAX airport.

Heading back to NYC after a day long trip, the ‘Battleship’ belle was casually dressed as she stepped out of her vehicle and rushed to catch her flight, reportedly unable to sign autographs for fans with only fifteen minutes to spare.

For the last two years, much ado has been made about Christina Aguilera‘s notable weight gain. Indeed, after spending much of her career as a petite Pop star, recent times have seen Aguilera sport a more voluptuous figure.

Predictably, the singer’s curvier frame has become a public Hot Topic; with some defending her right to be her, while others charge that Pop stars are ultimately selling products (“themselves”) and should put their best foot (or in this case, “weight”) forward.

Never one to hold her tongue, Xtina has addressed the issue head-on in the latest edition of Billboard magazine. Lets just say, her response makes for an intriguing and telling read.

Her words after the jump…

With Urban Twitter still buzzing about Starboy Nathan‘s entering and eventual axing from The X Factor UK, the singer has taken to Youtube to explain himself.

Check out what he had to say above.

 ***********

Emotional stuff.

That said, as an act who has been on the scene for 7 years plus, Nathan should have known it was a terrible move. Going on a show that sees ousted contestants auto-branded “X Factor reject” by the press should have not just been “a” red flag, it should have been “the” red flag. Sadly, it wasn’t. Everything isn’t for everyone, and after such public knock-backs, one has to wonder if the dream Nathan’s chasing is Usain Bolt’ing on him.

Sigh…

Your thoughts?

That Grape Juice was in the house tonight at the Atlanta-hosted 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards when, according to sources, the ‘Biggest Bawse’ Rick Ross was involved in a backstage altercation with ‘F.A.M.E.’ hitmaker Young Jeezy.

As fans know, the two have long been rumored to have been in an ongoing beef.  That, however, reached an all-time high at tonight’s Hip Hop Celebration where there was reported “pushing and shoving”.  The details await below…

She may receive little to no love at any award ceremony nowadays, but that didn’t stop Lil Kim from hitting Life Nightclub in Atlanta, following the ‘BET Hip Hop Awards’ last night.

Joined by long time friend Floyd Mayweather Jnr and ‘One Wish’ wonder Ray J, the former Rap Queen seemed in good spirits, weeks after promising fans new music during an outing at New York Fashion Week.

The year 2006 saw Nelly Furtado leave one-hit-wonder territory and enter superstardom. Inde

ed, with a string of hits each hotter than the previous, the ‘I’m Like A Bird’ singer established herself as a chart force scoring #1s after #1s. The unapologetic ‘Promiscuous’ serves as this week From The Vault pick.

Helmed by then “it producer” Timbaland, the tune saw Nelly and Timbo (featured here as a rapper/singer) trading flirtatious lines on a seductive beat. The  songbird exudes confidence and sensuality with her laid-back delivery, while Mr. Mosley is surprisingly pleasing with the “singing thing”.
A global home run, ‘Promiscuous’ reached the top spot of the charts in the US and Nelly’s homeland of Canada, and was a Top
3 single in the UK and Australia. It peaked inside the Top 20 in most of the other countries it was released in.
The Little X directed music video, which famously features cameos by Justin Timberlake and then-newbie Keri Hilson, sees Furtado interacting playfully and features an army dancers grooving at a club. By no means original, yet a visually delicious take
on a well-treaded concept. (Sidenote: just imagine what a Janet, Ciara or old-Britney would have done with that ending breakdown!)
Fans of the Canadian diva no doubt look back at the ‘Loose’ days as a golden era, for Nelly’s latest ventures can’t seem to match past achievements. And that’s putting it lightly.
With her latest effort, ‘The Spirit Indestructible’, selling 5,700 copies first week in the US while debuting at #79, the days of Top Shot Debut albums and consecutive #1 singles seem to be long gone.
And while we firmly believe it’s a case of being “gone for too long” and serving up wack material upon your return, we want to hear what YOU think:

What went wrong with Nelly Furtado’s career?
