Currently serving as Pop’s leading maestro can’t be an easy task for one time Elvis Presley impersonator  Bruno Mars.

Responsible for hits such as ‘Grenade‘, ‘Marry You‘ and ‘Just The Way You Are’, the entertainer’s background and personality- despite his meteoric rise to fame- remain somewhat of a mystery to any who has never considered themselves to be a fan of the performer.

Now, in a surprisingly honest interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan, he bares all- dishing on a number of subjects close to heart. From his drug related run in with the law to dealing with the perks and pressures of notoriety.

Days ago, in what came as unexpected many news to many in the Popverse, it was announced that Epic executive LA Reid has signed X Factor UK Royal Cher Lloyd to the label in a bid to push both she and her music to US audiences.

After enjoying chart success in domestic territory with her debut release, ‘Sticks&Stones’, there is little doubt the folk over at Epic will be hoping her popularity in the UK is some how indicative of how fruitful her project will be when its international campaign finally comes into motion.

Now we want you to add your two cents.

Do you feel Ms. Lloyd will make it in the USA? Or will she follow in the footsteps of fellow X Factor alum JLS and fail to capture the hearts and wallets minds of American audiences?

Let us know below!

Get into this footage of pre-teen sensation Willow Smith sporting an interestingly different look during a recent shopping trip on Rodeo Drive recently.

Seemingly inspired by the wild and fantastical style oft sported by Pop Prima Nicki Minaj, the entertainer’s sighting comes just months before the release of her debut album, which is set to hit stores on April 3rd 2012.

The last year has seen Pop diva Christina Aguilera become as renown for her weight as she is for her voice.

Indeed, many a media headline has taken aim at the singer’s “new figure”, with some sects concerned about how it’ll affect her career in today’s image-focal industry.

Never one to shy away from direct questions, the 31 year old broke her silence on the topic on everyone’s lips while promoting season 2 of The Voice yesterday.

R&B star Brandy has certainly been a busy girl as of late.

While cooking up her hotly anticipated new album, the singer has returned to her former mainstay – acting. And in a big way.

With a pronounced (and recurring role) on season 5 of BET’s ‘The Game’, That Grape Juices Patrick B caught up with the stunner at the exclusive screening for show’s first episode in Los Angeles last night.

There, the 32 year old dished on her character (‘Chardonnay’), as well her new single and album, when we can expect them, and a whole lot more.

As ever, we ask the questions you really want answers to.

‘The Boy Is Mine’ co-stars Monica and Brandy beam in this collection of personal snapshots uploaded to the ‘Don’t Take It Personal’ singer’s Twitter moments ago.  Sending fans into a frenzy, the two spark rumors that their 1998 mega-duet may be getting a successor soon.

Mo, who joined super producer Rico Love in Miami to record the finishing touches for her ‘New Life’ album (due in February), shared a touching thought with the photo:

“We’ve been blessed beyond measure…14 years later. ##TURNTHELIGHTSON ❤Love”.

Have long time fans’ cries been heard?  We’ll certainly be keeping our fingers crossed on that one.  The timing, if the collab rings true, couldn’t be any better given that Brandy is preparing new material for 2012 as well! This   will play out interestingly to say the least.  Until then, check out our exclusive interview with Miss Norwood here.

R&B powerhouse Jennifer Hudson has seemingly turned up the heat of her Weight Watchers-sponsored promotions with the forthcoming release of her January 10th due memoir ‘I Got This’.  Sharing titling with her one-time announced third single from her sophomore set ‘I Remember Me’, JHud looks to have forgotten that fans are still watching for her next LP, not her next pants size.

Be that as it may, the soon wed Grammy-winner is readying two forays into film – ‘Three Stooges’ and ‘Winnie’ – both due in 2012.  Until then, fans can view her gracing the cover of the January/February 2012 edition of ‘Weight Watchers’.

The mag also features some interesting quotes from the songstress who mentions her favorite music of the moment, her three pomeranian pooches Oscar, Grammy, and Dreamgirls (named after defining moments in her life), and her love for Destiny’s Child.

‘Bleeding Love’ belter Leona Lewis wasn’t exactly showing much love to chart rivals in a recent interview with ‘Time Out Dubai’.  The 26-year-old, whose most recent ‘Collide‘-lead LP ‘GlassHeart’ was pushed back to a March release, lent her opinion on the current status of the music industry’s vocalists to the worldly magazine, even suggesting reality talent show contestants best their established counterparts.

While many-a-talent show, including ‘American Idol’, ‘The Voice’, and Lewis’ own native ‘X Factor’ have boasted immeasurable talents in their years, is Leona’s assessment far-fetched?

‘Marry the Night‘ maestra Lady Gaga can be seen striking an ever interesting pose for the latest issue of L’uomo Vogue.  Including photos shot by Inez & Vinoodh (part of the Haus of Ü series), the pop eccentric is snapped in an array of photos whose theme was borrowed from her hit ‘You And I’ video.  Never one to shy away from ‘over-exposure’, you can see the singer bare all (in more ways than one) in this January 2012 Vogue Italia issue.
