Beyonce and Jay-Z celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary in the Abaco Islands of the Bahamas this weekend. The power couple wed in early 2008 in a surprise private ceremony which was attended by only close friends and family including Destiny’s Child members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.

R&B star Keri Hilson took centre-stage at the WWE‘s Wrestlemania 27 extravaganza at Atlanta’s Georgia Dome moments ago. There, the hometown singer performed a rousing rendition of ‘America The Beautiful’.

Britney Spears‘ latest album ‘Femme Fatale’ may be on course to hit #1 on the US charts, however British record-buyers aren’t as interested – if the record’s UK sales figures are anything to go by.

For, much like the 29 year old’s performances as of late, final figures for ‘Fatale’ on this side of the pond are both limp and lifeless.

And Rihanna said that she won’t be able to book a stage. Ciara was the guest performer at this year’s Sprite Step Off at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre yesterday and not only did she get to perform on that stage but she ripped it in half!

Brandy made an appearance at the Kids’ Choice Awards yesterday. The R&B singer is currently preparing her new studio album which is marked for release later this year.

Having some relationship issues with a pesky ex? If that’s then case then Mya has the remedy with this week’s From The Vault. The Tricky Stewart-produced ‘Case of the Ex’ was issued as the 2nd single from her ‘Fear of Flying’ LP in November 2000 and became her highest charting single as a solo artist to date, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

This is yet another example of how true talent can easily get overlooked and swept away in the industry. Mya is a competent singer and a very talented dancer yet she has been unable to find her way back onto the charts for quite some time.

Hopefully, history won’t repeat itself with another famous dancer – Ciara. Besides, both acts would be more than welcome to have a comeback and replace the lifeless ‘entertainers’ who somehow manage to get praised for their mediocrity.

It goes without saying: Beyonce‘s fourth studio album is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly anticipated releases of the year.

And if new reports prove accurate, fans may very well be hearing material from the set sooner than they think.
