The ‘Diaster’ singer roused the audience at an intimate gig this week with an acoustic version of ‘What’s My Name’ – which the Ms. Fenty topped charts with last year.

Taio Cruz is back. Not bigger and better. No. The LA-based Londoner instead serves up more of the same on ‘Hangover’ – the lead single from his latest LP ‘TY.O’ (due December 6th).

And who can blame him? His albums may tank, yet he stays perched atop of Singles charts across the globe. Something this song (as unfortunate as it is) and video should serve to continue.

R&B veteran Monica, who celebrates her 31st birthday today, has gifted fans and followers with the visual for ‘Until It’s Gone’ – the lead single lifted from her new LP ‘New Life’ (due December 13).

Whitney Houston and crew (Jordin Sparks, Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick) took a break from the set of their reboot of the 1976 musical ‘Sparkle’ to enjoy a Detroit Lions game.  The movie, also set in Detroit, began production this month with Sparks assuming the lead role and famed actor Mike Epps filling out the cast.

As reported here, while Cee Lo Green and R. Kelly are both signed on to join Houston and Sparks’ contributions to the film’s soundtrack, the ‘Crazy’ crooner will also be lending his acting chops to the movie.

Few siblings can rival the combined star power of Michael and Janet Jackson. However, for the the latter, that connection goes deeper than sharing the same last name. In life, Janet always had her brother’s back, and in death it’s no different.

After mounting a wildly successful ‘Number Ones’ tour, the 45 year old today announced a brief hiatus from the Australian leg of the trek. For, she says, it’s imperative that she joins her family back home in the US as the trial of the Dr accusused of causing the singer’s untimely death draws nearer its end.
