That Grape Juice recently caught up with fiery five-piece The Saturdays at the Universal Music head office in West London for a chat. The group (Frankie, Una, Rochelle, Mollie & Vanessa), who have taken the UK music scene by storm, spoke freely about everything from their success to their US plans to the Chris Brown and Rihanna drama. An entertaining watch, I must say (LOL). You can view Part 1 above and Part 2 below. Enjoy.

Your thoughts on our Saturdays interview?

Pint-sized star Lil’ Kim made her debut on the season premiere of Dancing With The Stars. The ‘Lighters Up’ rapper danced the Cha Cha to Janet Jackson’s classic ‘Nasty’ with partner Derek Hough.
Agreeing with the judges, Kim did great IMO.
What do you think of the performance?

As the March 24th release of Keri Hilson’s’ In A Perfect World’ LP draws nearer, the singer has dropped this album-teaser video clip, featuring the track ‘Make Love’ (I say album-teaser as this is not her new single). You may recognise a certain Mr West in the vid too. Good stuff.

Ciara To Tour With Britney - As An Opener
In some good news for Ciara fans (finally), the R&B star has confirmed that she will be joining the European leg of Jive label-mate Britney Spears’ ‘Circus’ tour, which rolls over this side of the pond in June. The ‘Never Ever’ singer also revealed that the release of her much delayed ‘Fantasy Ride’ has been pushed up a week, and will now drop May 5th.
This is definitely a good look for CiCi, who has caught a lot of flack over the drama surrounding her project. I find it pretty funny that she’ll be opening for Britney, as all signs point to CiCi’s show being much better than Ms. Spears’ – who, having seen clips of her performances on tour, is still stiffer than a plank of wood on stage.

'Michael-Mania' Is Back!
Following yesterday’s much anticipated announcement that Michael Jackson is to return to the stage here at London’s 02 in July, the media have been in a frenzy. Of course over the confirmation of the live shows, yet also due to the information that has begun to surface about the AEG Live-sponsored project.
With the announcement making headlines around the globe Jackson’s official website has been struggling to keep it’s servers afloat, after a whopping 16,000 people per second log on to register for the opportunity to partake in the ticket pre-sale on Wednesday. {Source}
Show organisers are promising “an explosive return” of the star with a band of the “highest calibre, state-of-the-art stage show and incredible surprise support acts.” One of the special support guests said to be gracing the stage with Jackson, will reportedly be sister Janet (Source). For what it’s worth, Britney Spears and Ne-Yo are in the country around Jackson’s July 8th first show kick-off.
What’s more, AEG have confirmed that an exclusive new Michael Jackson video showcasing his electric performances over the years will make a record breaking debut this Sunday at 9.30pm on ITV. MJ will be the only artist ever to take over an entire ad break. {Source}

This is shaping up to be the ‘comebacks’ of all comebacks!

RollingOut.com sat down with R&B singer Nivea recently, with the end result being a mix between hilarious and disturbing. In this must-see interview, the ‘Laundromat’ singer, who seemed to be under the influence of something, spoke candidly about her relationship with ex-husband The-Dream, being a mother and more.
Beyond what she’s saying, this is essential viewing, just to see how she carried on. I really didn’t know whether to laugh or feel sorry for her at some points. Either way, the moral of this one is quite simply that…
CRACK IS WACK!
(Or whatever it is she was on)

UK girl-group sensations The Saturdays are said to be lining up the roof-raising ‘Work’ as their next single. Featured on their Gold certified LP ‘Chasing Lights’, the cut is a delicious slice of Urban-Funk-Pop, which is does just enough to appeal to each audience. Great production, even better vocals (each member of the group holds their own on the vocal tip). Amazing.
Tidbit: You’ll be seeing a lot more of The Saturdays on That Grape Juice (sly grin LOL)
Hit or Miss?

The Chris Brown / Rihanna assault drama is really set to take a turn for the worse, with the police report surfacing on the net and in the media more generally today. You can watch the CNN’s report on the shocking (yes, shocking) content of the affidavit – which describes in detail what exactly happened on that evening in February- or you can read it for yourself below.
Chris Brown Assault Case: Police Files Surface Chris Brown Assault Case: Police Files Surface
Damn!!! Having been one of those waiting to hear some facts, rather than indulging in the unconfirmed rumors, I must say Chris *really, really, really* played himself with this. He’s done, finished, gone IMO. If Ms. Fenty opts to stay with him, as reports have suggested, we can say hello to our next Whitney and Bobby. SMH…

Day26 - 'Forever In A Day' Cover
Peep the official album cover for Day26’s sophomore effort ‘Forever In A Day’, which drops April 14th via Bad Boy Records / Atlantic. While the group’s new musical offerings, as featured on the current season of Making The Band 4, have me somewhat anticipating the record, the cover is a flat out hot mess. Very amateur looking…very ‘this is our first album’ looking too. SMH…
What do you think of the cover?
