Some two years after leaving the Sugababes, Pop vocalist Keisha Buchanan is finally striking out on her own.

The 26 year old has teamed up The Jacques Townhouse to launch her solo debut with a live gig on July 19th. To promote the exclusive show, the singer-songwriter has unveiled these stunning new promotional shots – which were snapped by Terence Webb (Vogue).

With her former bandmates about to release new material too, it looks the latter part of the year will see a Suga-showdown. Who are you rooting for?

The push for Alicia Keys‘ ‘Songs In A Minor: Collector’s Edition‘ heightened yesterday when she gave a rousing performance in London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Billed as  ‘Piano & I:A One Night Only Event With Alicia Keys’, she roused fans with renditions of songs lifted from the release. With the help of her trusty Yamaha, she brought the house down in a way only Ms.Keys can.

No stranger to letting it all hang out, Christina Aguilera‘s latest stip-down was a much classier affair. The diva, who currently hosts hit show ‘The Voice’, appears in her birthday suit on the alternate cover for W magazine’s July issue.

She shares the issue’s cover with the tour de force that is Beyonce. Perhaps, with public tide turning in her favour, Aguilera can also start to share some of Bey’s chart success.

It looks like Mariah Carey’s Photoshopper has gone global – if this new Sugababes promotional pic is anything to go by.

For, while looking great, the trio (especially Heidi) look almost unrecognisable. That said, Jade (centre) does look stunning, though.

The ladies are gearing up for the release of their brand new single ‘Freedom’. As reported, the song and the album it’s lifted from are set to be released via Sony Music, after the group were dropped mutually agreed to part ways with longtime label Island/Universal Music.
