25 years after Mariah Carey first topped the Billboard 200 with her fifth traditional studio album, 1997’s ‘Butterfly,’ the timeless turning point project – which has become a symbol synonymous with the music icon – is being reissued via an expanded edition.

Announced earlier this week (as reported here), Carey unveiled news of the anniversary offering by referring to the original opus as her “favorite” and “most personal album” yet.

Boasting eight new bonus tracks from the era, the 20-song set’s arrival is also accompanied by 4K versions of music videos for housed singles ‘The Roof’ and lead single ‘Honey.’  What’s more, the latter tune also has a ‘making of’ documentary attached to its upgrade.

Two years after making history with #2 debut of ‘The Album,’ which stands as the highest-charting female Korean LP in the history of the Billboard 200, BLACKPINK is finally unleashing its successor:  ‘Born Pink.’

An eight song affair, the project is preceded by teased tunes ‘Shut Down,’ ‘Ready for Love,’ and ‘Pink Venom.’ The latter not only peaked at #1 on the Billboard Global 200 with the second-largest worldwide weekly streaming total in the chart’s short history, but also debuted at #1 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart – making them the first female group to own muliple #1s on this tally. They were penciled in record books again the following week when ‘Venom’ became the first Korean-language song to top either chart for multiple weeks.

As if that’s not enough to boast, the tune’s video racked up a whopping 90.4 million views in its first 24 horus on YouTube – placing it at #3 on the all-time list – and later debuted at #22 on the Hot 100 (marking their highest non-collaborative reach yet).

All of the accolades serve as proof that excitement for ‘Born’ is only set to deliver dynamite first-week sales.  Until we find out for sure, look inside to stream the opus courtesy of Apple Music and Spotify.
