Indeed, for almost five decades, the diva has dazzled with music and visuals that have changed the Pop culture landscape forever.

In a special feature for Allure, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer sat down to reflect on some of her most memorable music videos.

From ‘Scream’ with her brother Michael Jackson to ‘Together Again’ to Busta Rhymes collaboration ‘What’s It Gonna Be,’ the Pop queen mused on the process of piecing together the iconic clips – peppering in a number of previously unknown tidbits.

The segment precedes the superstar’s hotly-anticipated two-night Lifetime documentary event, ‘Janet,’ which will see her lift the lid on her story like ever before.

For many, Barack Obama serves as their forever President. As such, it’s of little surprise that his popularity remains oh so potent five years after leaving The White House.

Pressing on with his practice of anchoring himself in Pop culture, #44 has unveiled his list of Favorite Music of 2021.

Speaking on the eclectic tally, Obama said:

“I’ve always enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music, so it’s no surprise that I listened to a little bit of everything this year. I hope you find a new artist or song to add to your own playlist.”

The blend of bops includes infectious cuts from the likes of Lil Nas X, Dancehall queen Spice, Lizzo, Cardi B, and Jon Batiste – who leads the nominations for the 2022 GRAMMYs.

“Accept the original of you to become unlocked” is the message Alicia Keys is propagating with her brand new album ‘KEYS.’

Unleashed last week (December 10), the LP sees the songstress fuse stripped back and unlocked versions of songs on the unique dual release.

As reported, the 15-time GRAMMY winner has been hot on the promotional trail for the project and she’s not letting up on its visual component either.

For, moments ago she unwrapped ‘KEYS: A Short Film’ – which sews together tracks such as ‘Old Memories’ and lead single ‘LALA.’

Koffee stirs up a flavorsome commotion in the video for ‘The Harder They Fall.’

The dynamic visual draws its inspiration from the critically-acclaimed Netflix Western of the same name.

Lifted from the film’s soundtrack, which arrived in October, the hard-hitting jam sees the Jamaican star shine with fiery flair.

Its accompanying clip is directed by child. (Doja Cat’s ‘Woman,’ Janelle Monae’s ‘Turntables’) and delivers an action-packed affair that fuses the rhythmic with the movie’s cowboy-anchored mise en scene.

The video for ‘The Harder They Fall’ precedes the January 7 arrival of the film’s Original Motion Picture Score.

It is finally here.

After much anticipation, Aaliyah‘s new tune – ‘Poison’ – has been unleashed. The track features high-profile singer The Weeknd and marks his second collaborative track released this week.

‘Poison’ was first announced on December 14, with the announcement confirming the track’s arrival on December 17.

Moreover, the tune is set to be the official first single from Aaliyah’s upcoming posthumous LP. According to Blackground CEO Barry Hankerson, the album is set to feature some of the biggest names in the music industry. The Weeknd, Drake, Future, and Chris Brown are all confirmed to be featured on it.

Lizzo is sounding off on critics of her comeback single ‘Rumors.’

The Cardi B assisted cut arrived this summer and appeared to be designed to launch the new album campaign from the chart-topper.

FKA Twigs continues to share new music.

The acclaimed songstress has just shared her latest release, ‘Tears In The Club.’ The Weeknd is featured on the song and marks the first time that he and FKA Twigs have collaborated together.

The video is an artistic one and sees FKA Twigs dance with a series of backup dancers as well as doing her own dancing while she is on an operating chair.

‘Tears In The Club’ arrives shortly after she released her song ‘Measure Of A Man,’ which featured Central Cee and will be part of the upcoming ‘The King’s Man’ movie soundtrack.
