Jennifer Lopez sent fans into a frenzy when she announced her brand new album ‘This Is Me…Now’ and she’s igniting more excitement by way of a telling interview with Apple Music.

Sitting down with Zane Lowe, J.Lo opened up about how the project (which is a thematic sequel to her 2002 LP ‘This Is Me…Then’) is inspired by her reunion with Ben Affleck who she married 20 years after they first broke up.

Speaking about the creative fire the rekindling of their relationship stirred up within her, the diva said:

“When I feel good, I write music. I got in the studio in May and by August (when we were married) it was done.”

Elsewhere, the multihyphenate maven waxed honest about how break-ups, hitting lows and finding herself anew inspired the first album she’ll have released since 2014’s ‘A.K.A.’

Saweetie is hitting back at the sour response to sales of her new EP ‘The Single Life.’

Announced with less than a day’s notice, the six-track set arrived as a bridge of sorts to the rapper’s long-awaited album debut ‘Pretty B*tch Music.’

As can be the case with “surprise” sets (and similar), it appears the lack of heads-up may have been the cause of the project’s less-than-stellar sales. Indeed, it’s believed the project only shifted 2000 units in the US first week.

The numbers (or lack thereof) sparked debut in earnest on social media – with everyone from fans to Joe Budden to fellow artists weighing in.

Now, Saweetie is offering her two cents.

The ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ star has been making solid strides with tracks such as ‘Drive Back’ and its housing album ‘Deep Space.’ And the trajectory continues with her newest number – which leads the incoming deluxe edition of her LP.
