Jazmine Sullivan scribbles new chapters in her winning narrative thanks to the ongoing success of her latest body of work, ‘Heaux Tales,’ and the content found aboard it.

As its breakout single, ‘Pick Up Your Feelings,’ not only shines as her first Gold-certified single and highest-charting Hot 100 effort in decade, other album cuts – ‘Girl Like Me,’ ‘Lost One,’ and ‘Other Side’ – are racking up spins on major digital retailers and outlets.

The latter’s particularly picking up steam, a trend sure to continue now that it’s been given the unofficial video treatment.  Taking to social media Tuesday (June 8) to announce its unveiling, Sullivan revealed the acoustic live version of the tune – which was recorded months ago – was never intended to be released.

For the sake of her latest single, ‘Creature of Habit,’ however, the 30-year-old sings the tale of someone who is “addicted to the habit a relationship, even though they’re not truly happy in it.”  Reportedly the first single from her anticipated sixth studio album – the follow-up to 2020’s ‘Good to Know’ – the GRAMMY winner called on serial Pop hitmaker Justin Tranter (who has penned tunes for Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, and more) to help pen ‘Habit.’

Still garnering praise after its official May 27 release, Jo is inviting fans behind the lens to see the magic of the creation of its accompanying Alfredo Flores-directed music video.

In “no holds barred” fashion, rapper T.I. goes all the way there in the music video for his controversial new single, ‘What It’s Come To,’ to defend himself against growing allegations of sexual assault from several women.

As has dominated headlines over the last few months, the rapper and his superstar wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris have been fielding accusations of drugging, kidnapping, sex trafficking, and sexual assault from dozens of female victims.  Despite their repeated denials of involvement, the claims have yielded mountains of negative press and lost endorsements for the Harrises.

To further declare his innocence, T.I. released the song ‘What It’s Come To’ last month (in which he suggests the legal woes are the result of an extortion scheme).  He doubles down on that stance in the cinematic music video for the tune.
