Bree Runway is embarking on a new chapter as an independent artist.

The eclectic songstress has been making waves on a global scale with bops such as ‘Hot Hot,’ATM,’ and ‘Somebody Like You.’ She’s also collaborated with the likes of Lady Gaga, Missy Elliott, as well as Khalid and recently wrapped a stint touring with Lizzo.

However, for all the buzz, many have been awaiting that all-important breakout moment for the London-based star. And Bree herself has been vocal about the hurdles in recent interviews.

Now, she’s gone public with the announcement that she’s departed Universal’s EMI Records.

After reaching the crown position of multiple Billboard charts with their ‘Princess Diana‘ duet, Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice have re-teamed to repeat the feat with their new collaboration ‘Barbie World.’

“And I’m bad like the Barbie (Barbie) (I’m a Barbie girl) / I’m a doll but I still wanna party (Party) (In the Barbie world) / Pink ‘Vette like I’m ready to bend (Bend) (Life in plastic) / I’m a ten, so I pull in a Ken (Like) (It’s fantastic),” the two rap on the Mark Ronson-produced bop.

An updated spin on Danish EuroPop band Aqua‘s classic 1997 smash ‘Barbie Girl,’ the latest Minaj-Spice combo follows Dua Lipa‘s top 40 hit, ‘Dance the Night,’ as the second single from the highly anticipated ‘Barbie‘ soundtrack (due on digital shelves July 21).

Ahead of the official release of the star-studded effort (which also features appearances from Lizzo, Khalid, Charlie XCX, Haim, PinkPantheress, Tame Impala, and others), hear ‘Barbie World’ inside.

Much like the People’s Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards, the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is one of the year’s most highly anticipated fan-voted award shows.

Honoring the year’s biggest in television, film, music, and sports as voted by worldwide viewers of Nickelodeon networks, this year’s iteration of the annual affair will air live on March 4 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and be simulcast across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. channel, TVLand, CMT and MTV2.

The music industry and its enthusiasts are still buzzing as Tuesday (November 15) brought with it the highly anticipated unveiling of the 2023 GRAMMY nominations.

Ahead of honoring the year’s best and brightest in the music realm on February 5, 2023, the coveted tally expectedly listed the likes of chart-toppers Beyonce, Adele, Harry Styles, Bad Bunnyand Lizzo as competitors for the ceremony’s top honors.

While jaws dropped to see some of the categories they were mentioned in and omitted from, fan groups of other major hitmakers are steam-pressed their favorites were placed in unexpected categories or totally shut out.

The credits are now rolling on the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards.

Broadcast live from Dusseldorf, Germany, the extravaganza was dually hosted by Rita Ora and Taika Waititi and brought with it performances from the likes of OneRepublic, Ava Max, Lewis Capaldi, Thundercat, and more…

Of the evening’s winners, Harry Styles led with seven awards, while Taylor Swift (who was in attendance) followed closely with six.

It’s that time of the year again! The 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards is back and set to salute releases from music’s biggest names on a global scale.

Taking place in Düsseldorf at PSD Bank Dome, the MTV EMAs air live on MTV in more than 170 countries on November 13.

Ahead of its highly anticipated arrival, official nominations were announced this week and see British superstar Harry Styles lead the pack with seven nods (including Best Artist, Best Song, and Best Video for work tied to his latest effort ‘Harry’s House‘).

Behind him is Taylor Swift, who nabbed 6 nods including Best Artist, Best Pop, and Best Longform Video, and then Nicki Minaj and Rosalía who each earned five nods.
