Earlier this week reports surfaced indicating Kanye West was not only the wealthiest Black person in America currently, but that he was also the richest African American in history.

Thanks to his shrewd business investments, music catalog (as performer and producer), deals with Adidas, fashion retailers, and more, the original report clocked his net worth at an astonishing $6.6 billion.

As the story made its rounds on the net, Forbes – the authority in celebrity wealth and finance – has clocked the claim as “invalid” and provided receipts to substantiate their dispute.

Nick Jonas continues his space adventure in his new video for ‘This Is Heaven.’

In the new set of visuals, the pop star performs in a church, backed by a choir, as the sun streaks through the windows. In another scene, he is back in front of a control panel as he appears to return to his character from his ‘Spaceman’ video.

His character only finds happiness when he goes beyond the observation deck in the outdoors, where he can run free and breathe.

‘This Is Heaven’ serves as the second single from Jonas’ ‘Spaceman’ album (stream it here), following the title track.

Jamie Foxx is back on the box!

The Hollywood superstar is re-engaging with his sitcom roots in new his Netflix show, ‘Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!’

Premiering April 14, the show is inspired by Foxx’s real-life relationship with his 27-year-old daughter Corinne Foxx – who has aptly been enlisted as an executive producer.

The star, who notably top-billed ‘The Jamie Foxx Show’ from 1996-2001, will appear alongside David Alan Grier, Porscha Coleman, and Jonathan Kite. Recurring guests include Valente Rodriguez and Heather Hemmens.

Zayn is back with new music.

For, the singer has just released the song ‘To Begin Again’ with singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson. The ballad is a snapshot of the moment a couple decides to rekindle their romance following a near-apocalypse.

Across the track, they sing:

When the world was ending / I’d hold you in my arms / And we talked about the places we’d never been / When the world was ending / We’d hold on to the past / Because it’s all we thought that we would ever see.

After ample teasing, this week brought with it the official trailer for Netflix’s original film ‘Concrete Cowboy.’

Gospel icon Kirk Franklin has been the topic of headlines, ridicule, and criticism over the last few days following the leak of explosive phone audio that saw him launch into a profanity-laden tirade against his oldest child, Kerrion.

During the call, which was recorded and lifted to Instagram by Kerrion, his ‘Stomp’-performing dad threated to break his neck and worse after the 33-year-old apparently made upsetting comments (which were not heard on the film footage).

Nevertheless, while Kirk received overwhelming support from most of his industry friends and fans, some critics believe his actions were totally inappropriate – a response that led the GRAMMY winner to issue a formal apology Sunday (March 14).
